The Chocolate Invitational fuses
Chocolate and creative community culminating in to a magical and ethereal style Chocolate Festival. Upon entering the gates, one will feel the warm embrace of peaceful surroundings: you will be greeted with a bit of mystery, a bit of soul, a bit of art, and – of course – Chocolate tastings and pairings.
In essence, our Chocolate Festival will bring out the child in you.

Once ticket is purchased you will be added to our guest list, and you will need to bring Proof of ID in order to get in.
Children under 10 years of age are FREE, but must be accompanied by an adult. For all ticket purchases you must show your ID at the door. 21+ event.
While this event is open to anyone, We consider this event to be private engagement and therefore we will not disclose address until ticket purchase has been made. Though we are selling tickets the day of, these are mostly going to ticket holders of friends, family and associates on a “last minute” situation.
Parking
There is a $3 mandatory donation fee to park your car on the lot which will be instructed by our attendees.

What to expect
Getting There:
The drive will be beautiful and scenic through the Malibu Mountains. It's approx. 45 minutes from downtown LA, nearest city are Malibu & Westlake (6 miles). From PCH off Kanan Rd through Mulholland Drive (9 miles). We consider this place to be a hidden treasure, but by November 17th, day light savings will be over, and will the sun will set at 4:40pm, please plan accordingly.
WEATHER: The ranch in perched high in the Malibu mountains, so typically it can be warm during the day and very chilly at night. Please bring appropriate clothing for those types of weather especially if you are staying into the night. Please consider sun-block of all sorts.
FLAT SHOES: NO HEELS. We can’t stress enough the importance of comfy shoes. While we all want to look our best for this event, we are on a ranch, grass, dirt roads, gravel, uneven grounds, hills will enhance your adventure, so wearing flat comfy shoes is ideal. We welcome you to explore the ranch and spend the day hanging out on this beautiful property.
More to consider:
• We advise anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No Exceptions.
• Underage drinking and illegal drug use is NOT permitted!
• We love our pets, but unfortunately Dogs and other pets are NOT allowed. If you show up with a dog, you will not be admitted into the event.
• We STRONGLY encouraging pre-cycled practices for day. Leave our ranch beautiful!
• Be Kind to All Farm Animals on the Property. Do Not Touch.
• All guests with allergies (and those without) should be aware we will be outdoors.
* There is NO smoking in the tasting or food + drink related areas. Please consider your use when smoking on the property. Brush areas are highly flammable*

Any artwork or performances sponsored by the Festival or taking place on Festival grounds is also subject to a mandatory, non-exclusive license to The Chocolate Invitational for use in Festival promotional purposes.

The Chocolate Invitational is a series of events sincerely dedicated to sharing the love of all things Chocolate. We have partnered with Intentional Chocolate, helmed by Ashley Walsh, who will be giving us delightful and meditational tastings … elevating our senses with the purest notes of Chocolate. Intentional Chocolate begins with simple gestures, offerings of joy, and a recipe that has been crafted with positive intentions.
We will incorporate a fresh stylish approach, with special themes, culinary bites, art + photography, music, and a variety of samples, to enhance the experience. We believe your enjoyment of Chocolate is heavily influenced by the atmosphere around you. Our events will be sophisticated, tasteful, and secluded. We like the idea of “private, intimate gathering”... Try a few chocolate tastings.... then relax, chatting with friends or meeting someone new who’d like to share a Chocolate story with you. It’s a way to enjoy Chocolate the way it should be... amongst friends, old and new.
ABOUT
MIkki Sage and Ashley Walsh first bonded over their great passion and altruistic awareness of Chocolate, and thus was born the idea of The Chocolate Invitational. Their successful launch of the first Chocolate Invitational, sponsored by Intentional Chocolate in June 2012, showcased the entrance of this concept into the festival circuit in a delicious way with a sold out event in Venice. This was the first of many tastemaker events for The Chocolate Invitational
